Friday Feels

Education is one of the most rewarding and fulfilling professions one can hope to enter. At the same time, things like consistent interruptions when you're trying to finish a task, large caseloads, and secondary trauma can wear us down throughout the week. So we present to you, Friday Feels!

If you need an emotional pick me up or a reminder of why you put in all those extra hours, spend money from your own paycheck to buy necessary staples for students and their families, or after hanging up the phone after a call to a county agency on behalf of a student ,you can drop by the blog and look for Friday Feels.

We'll post articles, videos, or other media that helps lift your heart, smile, and sometimes laugh. Most of the time it will be counseling/school/education related. Sometimes it may just be a funny cat video or laughable meme. But it will always be a place to take a mental break and practice some self care through emotions and humor.
